Wake up real estate agents! There's a better way.

That's literally what's going through my head after being a part of a mastermind group. The topic: Where is the market going for real estate agents?

How are ibuyers coming into the mix?

How is Black Rock and Open Door coming into the mix?

How is the real estate environment changing as a whole with Zillow?

I can tell you this, real estate agents are getting nervous.

Gosh, that call with Ryan custodial really fires me up. I just love supporting people who were meant to do what they've always felt passionate about.

There's nothing better than leading by giving. And that's exactly what I did when I was helping Ryan Custodio in this last deal.

I love that guy. You know why? Because he jumps. He jumps out of the plane. When you give him a challenge, he takes it head on.

And I've challenged him a couple of different times and not once has he ever hesitated to make the move.

Are you stuck?

I know you're stuck because if you're just getting started, the hardest part about going from a W2 job or going from college and trying to be an entrepreneur, trying to be that investor is analysis paralysis.

We've all been there. You can read as many blogs as you want. You can listen to as many podcasts as you want. You can buy as many information products as you want, but at the end of the day, it still leaves you paralyzed, paralyzed with fear, paralyzed with doubt, asking yourself, what am I supposed to do first?

And, and that's the problem because if you don't get started doing something, you'll end up doing nothing.

Most people, when they're thinking about making an investment in any type of asset, are contemplating value. What does that mean? For me it's asking myself the most important question: Is it expensive or is it cheap? Whenever you're going to buy an asset, and in our case, it's going to be real estate, but it could be Bitcoin, gold, stocks, or any type of commodity, you have to ask yourself, is it expensive or is it cheap?

I want to talk about the frustration of trying to find new opportunities. Every single day as an investor, we're hunting for new opportunities. And it can be frustrating. It can be a grind for myself. I've been searching for new residential opportunities all year. This year, from the very beginning of the year, I've been struggling to find that new opportunity.

Today I want to talk a little bit more about mindset. Mindset is such a powerful thing. It's really hard to even describe. I don't think you really know what you're capable of until you've really dug deep into your own mind, your own self-awareness and you've really tested yourself.

Have you designed your life yet?

That's the question you should be asking yourself because when I was 25 years old, just out of college, I sat down and designed mine from that day forward. I was on a mission to make my dream come true. My dream life on my terms, and today, I have achieved the goals I set for myself.

Today, I have redesigned the next phase of my life.

Today, I want to talk about my personal life. It's easy for someone to come on, hoot and holler, and tell you all the things you need to think about for yourself. The words you need to use for yourself. The stories you need to tell yourself, and how you need to get over the fear and jump.

I get that.

I want to talk a little bit about my personal "why", because you need to know who's talking to you. You need to know more about me.

It got me to think, man, that's what scares everybody about investing in real estate is getting thrown a curve ball that they don't expect

Now, I've lived through the downturn in 2008, when property started losing value each and every day.

You might think, oh man, I'm buying a property, and every day after it's going to lose value, how do I do that?

That has to be the worst thing ever. I lived through that as a real estate investor. I made money doing that, but today properties are going up 12, 14, 18% in a year
